Event Terms and Service

By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you expressly agree to the Event Terms and Service, the Academy Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and the Supplemental Privacy Policy to the event.

1. Ticket Purchases and Event Confirmation

   1. All ticket purchases are subject to the minimum attendance requirement for the event to proceed.
   2. Your ticket purchase reserves your spot at the event, pending final confirmation.
   3. The event organizer will make a final decision regarding the event's status no later than three (3) weeks before the scheduled event date.
   4. The event organizer reserves the right to cancel the event if the minimum ticket sales requirement is not met.

Refund and Ticket Transfer Policy - General Terms

1. Refund Terms and Schedule

   We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy for event cancellations is as follows:

   
   
   1. Full Refund (100%): Cancellations made 4 weeks (28 days) or more before the event date
   2. Partial Refund (50%): Cancellations made between 2-4 weeks (14-27 days) before the event date
   3. No Refund (0%): Cancellations made less than 2 weeks (0-13 days) before the event date

2. How to Request a Refund

   To request a refund, please contact our team at academy@ververica.com with your invoice reference number and the date you wish to cancel.

3. Additional Terms

   1. The cancellation date will be determined by the date we receive your written cancellation request.
   2. Refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment within 10 business days.
   3. No-shows will not be eligible for a refund.
   4. In the event of exceptional circumstances, management reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

4. Ticket Transfer Terms

   Please be advised that tickets are non-transferable after purchase. This means:

   1. Tickets cannot be transferred to other individuals.
   2. The name on the ticket must match the attendee's identification.
   3. Tickets are valid only for the original purchaser.

5. Rationale For Our Policy

   This strict no-transfer policy is in place to:

   1. Ensure the security and integrity of our event
   2. Prevent unauthorized ticket reselling or scalping
   3. Maintain accurate attendee records for communication and safety purposes
   4. Comply with our venue and insurance requirements, if any
   5. Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, if any

6. Identification Requirements

   All attendees may be required to present valid photo identification matching the name on the ticket at the time of entry. Individuals without matching identification may be denied entry without refund.

7. Special Circumstances

   In the rare case of exceptional circumstances, please contact our customer service team at academy@ververica.com at least 5 business days before the event. Any exception to this policy is at the sole discretion of management and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Alternative Options

   If you are unable to attend the event:

   
   
   1. You may be eligible for a refund according to our Refund General Terms

9. Refund Policy - Event Cancellation

   We will use the information that we collect about you for the following purposes:

   
   
   1. In the event of cancellation due to insufficient ticket sales:
   1. All ticket holders will receive a full refund
   2. Refunds will be processed within seventy-two (72) hours of the cancellation announcement
   3. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase
   2. Notification Process:
   1. All ticket holders will be notified of the event status no later than three (3) weeks before the scheduled event date
   2. Notification will be sent to the email address provided during ticket purchase
   3. The notification will include details about the refund process if applicable

10. Additional Terms

    1. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms and conditions.
    2. The event organizer reserves the right to modify these terms with appropriate notice to ticket holders.
    3. All times mentioned are in Central EuropeanTime (CET).
